DOMOLOISIRS
FRANCE
Since 2006, the Domoloisirs association has been dedicated to reducing the digital divide in an audience made up mainly of older people and young people with fewer opportunities. The organization offers computer support and accompanying services for the appropriation of the new legal obligations in electronic administration.
Domoloisirs encourages these activities in a spirit of active pedagogy and non-formal education, following the rhythm of the participants and inviting them to appropriate step by step the knowledge transmitted to become autonomous. It also organizes creative computer workshops that allow its audience to become aware of their potential and their memory heritage, thanks to various stop motion and Google tools. This last activity has been a recent development when Domoloisirs joined the collective structure that develops memory workshops as part of the We Tomorrow project.
Due to the encouraging results of this approach, Domoloisirs has started to integrate these workshops into its local offering. Additionally, the organization has expanded its activities to include: a short-stay accommodation service; the organization of creative workshops and gentle sports (meditative walks); body and psychological services at home and in their offices (yoga, relaxation, massages).
The organization has observed the growing anxiety that characterizes its various audiences and, therefore, has felt the need to propose relaxing activities, which are an integral part of the practices and teachings to be developed at an international level.
An offer of services that integrates dexterity and mobility seemed to the organization to be the logical extension of the We Tomorrow project, to which Domoloisirs wishes to continue contributing by sharing its experience in terms of practical support for older people in the use of various IT tools existing on the market. .
In general terms, the activities managed by Domoloisirs are: IT support, administrative support (related to electronic administration), creative workshops and memory workshops.
